Thomas Annunziata Wins Second Straight ARCA Menards Series Pole at Elko

The starting lineup is set for tonight’s (June 27) race at Elko Speedway, and Thomas Annunziata will lead the field after claiming the pole.

The pole is Annunziata’s second consecutive pole of the ARCA Menards Series season after qualifying first last week in Berlin. Lining up alongside Annunziata on the front row will be Landon S. Huffman, who posted the second-fastest qualifying time.

Row two features Annunziata’s Nitro Motorsports teammates with Jake Bollman in third, Isabella Robusto in fourth, and Ty Fredrickson rounding out the top five.

The remainder of the top 10 starters include Taylor Reimer, Willie Mullins, Jason Kitzmiller, Takuma Koga, and Michael Maples.

There are 21 cars entered for tonight’s Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy at Elko Speedway in Elko New Market, Minnesota. The winner of the most recent race at Berlin Raceway, Max Reaves, driver of the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, did not take a qualifying lap as his team worked on the car after the engine expired at the end of practice.

Max Reaves won this race last year, and he will face an uphill climb to be the only repeat ARCA Menards Series winner at Elko Speedway. Kevin Campbell also did not take qualifying or practice laps and his status for the race is uncertain.

ARCA Elko Starting Lineup

The short track racing action is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET. Television coverage will be provided by FOX Sports 2.
