Stock Car Scoop: Did NASCAR’s Next Gen Car Improve the Coca-Cola 600?

A wildly entertaining “Greatest Day in Motorsports” was capped off by the NASCAR Cup Series’ Coca-Cola 600, in which several big wrecks, a Chris Buescher flip through the frontstretch infield and overall attrition marked the series’ longest event.

A record-breaking race distance and over five hours after the field took the green flag, Denny Hamlin claimed the checkered and secured his second win of 2022. Was the Next Gen car’s performance a return to form after it was lackluster at the All-Star Race? Just how impressive was Marcus Ericsson‘s Indianapolis 500 win, and how bizarre was the Monaco Grand Prix’s rain delay? Host Adam Cheek is joined by Frontstretch‘s own Michael Finley and Michael Bachmann, and the trio discuss all these topics and more.
