Thomas Annunziata Earns ARCA Pole After Qualifying Is Canceled at Chicagoland

The ARCA Menards Series is set to kick off a holiday weekend of racing at Chicagoland Speedway, but the action had to pause before it could begin.

With qualifying canceled, Thomas Annunziata will lead the field to the green in Friday night’s (July 3) Ashley Furniture 150 after earning the pole. The starting lineup was set per the rulebook, with Annunziata’s fastest lap in today’s practice session securing the top starting spot.

The pole is Annunziata’s third straight of the ARCA Menards Series season. Joining him on the front row will be Daniel Dye, who posted the second-fastest practice time.

Starting in row two will be points leader Jake Bollman in third and Lanie Buice in fourth, while Jason Kitzmiller completes the top five.

The rest of the top 10 starters are Connor Mosack, Gavan Boschele, William Sawalich, Landon S. Huffman, and Andy Jankowiak.

A total of 27 cars are entered for tonight’s Ashley Furniture 150. Nate Moeller’s No. 83 Clubb Racing entry is expected to make a start-and-park appearance, as announced earlier this week on X by Jeff Maconi, the driver of the team’s No. 86 entry.

ARCA Chicagoland Starting Lineup

The ARCA Menards Series returns to Chicagoland Speedway on Friday, with the Ashley Furniture 150 set to begin at 8 p.m. ET. Television coverage will air on FOX Sports 1.
