The Pit Straight: Dixon Bomb Blows Up Silly Season

On the back of perhaps the biggest driver signing move in recent NTT IndyCar Series history, it’s time for a new episode of “The Pit Straight.”

Kyle Benjamin assembles the crew of Michael Finley, Wyatt Watson, Tom Blackburn and Alex Gintz to reflect on Scott Dixon’s bombshell move away from his long-time home at Chip Ganassi Racing. Likewise, Felix Rosenqvist’s decision to leave Meyer Shank Racing, announced mere days after his win in the 110th running of the Indianapolis 500, has left fans with more questions than answers.

What about Christian Lundgaard? And Caio Collet? And Colton Herta? The list goes on.

Across the pond in Silverstone, is Lewis Hamilton now a Formula 1 title favorite? Can Kimi Antonelli stand the heat?

Digest these questions and more with the Frontstretch open wheel team on “The Pit Straight.”

“The Pit Straight” is Frontstretch‘s open-wheel racing podcast, available during the racing season before Formula 1 and IndyCar races on SpotifyApple PodcastsYouTube and right here on the web.

  1. Hi, Dixon did do a F1 test many years ago. And I think it was with McLaren as Colin Giltrap was friends with Ron Dennis. In NZ Dixon has always stated his love for the McLaren F1 team.
