Kyle Kirkwood will be sponsored by Sam’s Club starting at the Indianapolis 500, Andretti Global announced April 23.
Sam’s Club will be on board the No. 27 Honda through the rest of the NTT IndyCar Series season.
“I’m really excited to have Sam’s Club back with us this season,” Kirkwood said in a team release. “It was a great experience having them on board for the race in Nashville last year, so I’m happy to see them return. It’s truly special to have them involved for the Indy 500, our most significant race of the year, and through the remainder of the season. Sam’s Club is a household name, so it’s an honor to have them on the No. 27 Sam’s Club Honda. They’ve already proven to be a great partner, and I’m looking forward to what we can build together the rest of the year.”
Kirkwood currently sits second in the point standings with a win at Arlington.
In his career, he has six wins, 17 top fives and 36 top 10s.
The Indy 500 is set to run on Sunday, May 24 at 12:30 p.m. ET and airs on FOX.
