NASCAR Mailbox: Changes Needed for Chase Elliott?

Chase Elliott was running near his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson on Sunday (March 23) but Elliott faded back to an 18th-place finish. Are changes needed for the No. 9 team?

Also, is it concerning for Ryan Blaney to have three straight DNFs, with two being engine failures?

Frontstretchโ€™s Jared Haas answers this weekโ€™s questions for NASCAR Mailbox on Frontstretchโ€™s YouTube channel.

  1. If wasn’t for the penalty #9 should have finished in top 10 easily and should have claim 4th in standing to have all 4 Hendricks on top

  2. Yes changes need to be made for chase Elliott he to talented a driver to not get a top 10 finish weekly rather with the crew chief car chief pit crew but yes definitely changes are needed.

    • Agreed, while many winch at his popularity, like itโ€™s his fault… something just isnโ€™t right with that team. He may win one or two races this year, but thatโ€™s way below expectations.

  3. I have said it for years Chase needs a new crew chief. His crew chief will do the same thing week after week and expect things to change.
