Sammy Smith will lead the field to the green at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, qualifying with a lap of 183.455 mph on Friday (March 14). It’s the third pole for Smith as he leads a qualifying session dominated by JR Motorsports.
Smith’s teammate Carson Kvapil will start alongside in what is career best starting position for the rookie driver. Connor Zilisch completes the JR Motorsports top three sweep qualifying in third. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Taylor Gray will start alongside Zilisch in the fourth position. Sam Mayer completes the top five.
Justin Allgaier, Jesse Love, William Sawalich, Nick Sanchez and Jeb Burton qualify sixth through 10th, respectively
With 38 cars entered, all drivers will race Saturday (Mar. 15) in Las Vegas.
