ARCA Menards Series champion Jesse Love will cap off the last race of the season from the front row, earning the pole for today’s season finale at Toledo Speedway.
Love’s lap of 15.850 seconds bested the rest of the 17 cars entered for today’s race, giving him his seventh pole of the season.
Sharing the front row with Love will be fellow Toyota driver William Sawalich, who is still in a tightly contested battle with Love for the owners’ championship. Sawalich nearly matched Love’s speed, falling only four hundredths of a second off his pole speed.
On row two, Sean Hingorani and Andres Perez de Lara roll off the grid together. It’s Hingorani’s first main division start since Bristol Motor Speedway last month, where he finished 15th. For Perez de Lara, he’ll look to wrap up his season as runner-up to Love in the points standings with a good run today.
Rounding out the top five will be Andy Jankowiak, who is making his second career start at Toledo.
The remainder of the top 10 has Dylan Smith starting sixth, making his season debut, with Christian Rose in seventh, and Frankie Muniz rolling off eighth. Mason Ludwig, who makes his ARCA debut today at age 21, starts ninth, with Jon Garrett in 10th. Additionally, all 18 cars entered took a lap in qualifying.
