A familiar sponsor resurfaced as a primary sponsor on Sunday (March 19), as it was announced that motor oil manufacturer Quaker State would join Trackhouse Racing Team in a technical alliance. They will also adorn Daniel Suarez’s No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro at Richmond Raceway in April and Atlanta Motor Speedway in July.
Quaker State has had a long history in NASCAR and has sponsored multiple race-winning cars throughout its time in the sport. They currently sponsor the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta, one of the two races that Suarez will run the green and gold colors.
“Quaker State represents everything we hoped to attract when we first started Trackhouse Racing,” team co-owner Justin Marks said in a press release. “A powerful, globally recognized brand that is committed to our racing team, as well as elevating our drivers in unique and engaging ways…
“As a racing historian, it is truly humbling to just carry the Q and colors on our race cars.”
Quaker State’s famous Q will also be seen on Ross Chastain’s driver suit for the rest of the season. The length of the agreement has not yet been announced.
