With only two races to go in the season, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to ISM Raceway this weekend (Nov. 11) for the Can Am 500. This race is the third round elimination race of the playoffs, which means the Championship 4 will be decided at the conclusion of this event.
Only 38 teams are entered this week, barring any entry list changes.
DJ Kennington replaces Reed Sorenson in the No. 7 for Premium Motorsports. In nine starts this season, Kennington has a best finish of 13th at Daytona Superspeedway back in July.
After withdrawing from the last event at Texas Motor Speedway, Timmy Hill will drive the No. 66 for MBM Motorsports.
Cole Whitt will jump back aboard the No. 72 for TriStar Motorsports with sponsorship backing from Standard Plumbing Supply.
The Cam Am 500 is scheduled for Sunday, N0v. 11, at 2:30 p.m. ET with TV coverage on NBC.
