Denny Hamlin won his fifth pole of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Sunday afternoon’s (Oct. 4) South Point 400.
Hamlin enters as the two-time defending winner at the track and has won the last three times he has started on the pole.
Hamlin’s Joe Gibbs Racing teammates will line up right behind him as Ty Gibbs, Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe qualified second through fourth, respectively.
Tyler Reddick, Kyle Larson, Austin Cindric, William Byron, Bubba Wallace and Carson Hocevar will start fifth through 10th respectively.
Daniel Suarez (11th), Ryan Preece (12th), Chase Elliott (13th), Chris Buescher (14th), Ryan Blaney (20th) and Joey Logano (23rd) are the six Chase drivers to start outside the top 10.
Noah Gragson and Josh Berry both crashed in practice so they did not post a qualifying lap.
With only 36 entries, there will be a full field for tomorrow’s race.
