Carson Brown Leads Most Laps, Wins ARCA Race at DuQuoin

Carson Brown was the fastest driver in the ARCA Menards Series field at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds on Sunday, Sept. 6. He was the fastest in the practice session, won the pole, and led the most laps en route to winning for the second time in his career.

Despite leading the most laps, it wasn’t easy for Brown, or his competitors for that matter, as there were a number of cautions and the outside line on restarts proved problematic.

Brown led the majority of the race, though he lost the lead to Gavan Boschele on the final restart inside of 10 laps to go.

Brown delivered back-to-back wins for Pinnacle Racing Group, as his team won at DuQuoin in 2025 with series champion Brenden Queen.

Points leader Jake Bollman finished second, four positions better than his championship contender Thomas Annunziata.

In his final career start, Kelly Kovski wound up in third place.

Nitro Motorsports placed three drivers inside the top five, with Bollman P2, Gavan Boschele P4, and Annunziata P5.

Taylor Reimer recovered from overheating issues on her No. 77 PRG Chevrolet, forcing her to pit road and losing two laps, to end up sixth.

Father-son duo Jason and Isaac Kitzmiller finished seventh and eighth, and Chase Howard and Ryan Vargas were ninth and 10th.

The craziness of the second and final dirt track race of the ARCA season featured 24 starters, though only 10 finished on the lead lap.

Brown also gave PRG back-to-back wins this season as Tristan McKee triumphed at Madison International Speedway.

ARCA heads to its most frequent stop, Salem Speedway. The Indiana short track will host the series on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 8 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by FOX.
