Dreyer & Reinbold Racing announced on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 5) that Conor Daly will drive full time for the team in the 2027 NTT IndyCar Series season.
It is a multi-year deal that will put Daly in the seat of the No. 24 DRR Honda as the team returns to full-time competition for the first time since 2012.
“Dreyer & Reinbold Racing is returning to full-time competition in 2027 with Honda engines, and Conor Daly is the driver we want leading that return,” team CEO Derek Reinbold said. “An Indiana driver in an Indiana team’s car is exactly how we want to come back.”
DRR purchased a charter from Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in July as they only ran the Indianapolis 500 in the 2026 season with Daly and Jack Harvey.
Daly ran for DRR in the 2024 and 2026 Indianapolis 500s, finishing 10th and 12th, respectively, at his home track.
“I am extremely grateful to get back to full-time IndyCar racing with my friends at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing and Honda,” Daly said. “The faith that this group has shown in me is something that makes me want to work harder than ever before to deliver.”
Daly last ran full time in 2025, driving the No. 76 for Juncos Hollinger Racing, finishing 18th in points.
