Tyler Reddick took the top spot in Saturday’s (Aug. 22) NASCAR Cup Series qualifying session at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with a speed of 131.094 mph.
Of Reddick’s five 2026 wins, four of them came after he started first, and he will look to replicate the feat in Sunday’s (Aug. 23) Dollar Tree 301.
Joining Reddick on the front row is Josh Berry, last year’s New Hampshire runner-up who is currently on a hot streak with three consecutive top 10s. William Byron was the highest-qualifying Chevrolet in third, while points leader Denny Hamlin will roll off fourth and has an opportunity to clinch the number one seed this weekend.
Shane van Gisbergen qualified fifth, while Hamlin’s Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Christopher Bell and Ty Gibbs qualified sixth and seventh, respectively. Ryan Blaney was eighth, Kyle Larson was ninth and Alex Bowman was 10th.
No open cars were entered beyond the 36 chartered teams, so every car qualified the race.
