Stock Car Scoop: Viva…Viva…Las Chase Briscoe!

Chase Briscoe dominated Sunday’s (Oct. 4) running of the South Point 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and still, he needed lady luck on his side as he held off hard-charging Kyle Larson and Tyler Reddick.

Stock Car Scoop host Eric Schneck takes a look at Briscoe’s fantastic day on Sunday as well as takes a look at the struggles and then triumphs of Larson, who plummeted during stage one, went a lap down at one point, and still finished second. Schneck also looks at the self-spin by championship contender Denny Hamlin and NASCAR’s decision to hold onto the caution flag at that moment.

Joining Schneck this week are Frontstretch reporters Bryan Nolen and Danny Petters, who have been on the beat all weekend in Sin City.

Closing out the show, Schneck takes a look at the top 16 in points, gives his thoughts on Brad Keselowski leaving RFK Racing, Kasey Kahne‘s return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2027 and takes a brief look at the rest of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule.
