Matt Mills will return to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Niece Motorsports, the team announced Oct. 5.
He will be driving the No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado at Charlotte Motor Speedway with sponsorship from Utilitra and JF Electric.
“It’s very exciting to come back and race for Niece Motorsports at Charlotte, one of my favorite tracks,” Mills said in a team release. “To come back and race with the No. 4 is very meaningful to me because it is a number that I raced when I was growing up.”
It’ll be Mills’ first appearance in a national series event in 2026.
Mills most recently competed full time in the Craftsman Truck Series last season for Niece, driving the No. 42. He recorded two top 10s, including finishes of seventh at Charlotte and ninth at Watkins Glen International. This will be the first start he has made in NASCAR’s three national series in 2026.
“Charlotte is a track that Matt always runs well at, and I know that he is excited to get back out there,” Niece Motorsports co-owner Greg Fowler said. “We will certainly be cheering for him on Friday night.”
