On Sunday, North Wilkesboro Speedway on played host to a points-paying NASCAR Cup Series event for the first time since 1996. Following its resurrection project, the venue was used for NASCAR’s All-Star Race from 2023 to 2025. 

With NASCAR’s return to the iconic short track, we asked this question: Should it remain a points-paying date in the future? Or, should it return to being an exhibition date?

    • I don’t think BG has the infrastructure in place to handle 40 cup cars and their pits. Its fine for a 20 car Clash though, or All-Star race. I would put Richmond there instead and rotate between those tracks.

  2. Points racing should stay at North Wilkesboro and should return to Rockingham. The cookie cutter turds at Chicago, Kansas, Las Vegas, Texas should disappear entirely as should Indianapolis.

  3. Well, not according to Clint Bowyer, not at least without a change to the cars. Little sissy boy Clint is pissed that the driver he hates so much did well there. I would love to see SVG beat the dog shit out of Clint while reminding him bad he sucked.

  4. One caution completely ruined the race and it was completely boring for most of the race. No need to bring a points race back. Hard pass.
