On this week’s episode of Frontstretch Happy Hour, hosts Bryan Nolen, Michael Massie and Dalton Hopkins are joined by NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rookie Mini Tyrrell and NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series road course specialist Preston Pardus.
Tyrrell joins the podcast first to discuss racing this past weekend at the Naval Base Coronado in San Diego. He also details his win two weekends ago in the zMAX CARS Tour race at Dominion Raceway, taking home the trophy of the Mini’s Mission 125 for the second year in a row. He also describes what Mini’s Mission did during that weekend. Mini’s Mission is a foundation Tyrrell started when he was just a child that benefits children with cancer.
Pardus then joins to tell about his experience at Coronado and what the rest of the season could look like for him and his family team. He sticks around and helps the Happy Hour hosts fill out a bracket for the NASCAR In-Season Challenge, which starts this weekend at Sonoma Raceway. All of the Frontstretch podcasts will be competing against each other to see who has the best bracket, so stay tuned for that in the upcoming weeks.
