It only took Corey Heim 13 races to score his first career NASCAR Cup Series victory at the inaugural running of the Anduril 250 at Naval Base Coronado on Sunday (June 21).
Stock Car Scoop host Eric Schneck takes you through the Cup race at San Diego, where Heim scored his first career victory and odds-on favorite Shane van Gisbergen got caught up in a multi-car accident. We also dive into some key facts and figures from NASCAR Chief Operating Officer Ben Kennedy.
Joining Schneck from Naval Base Coronado are Frontstretch reporters Dalton Hopkins and Bryan Nolen, who give their thoughts on the action this weekend in The Golden State.
Wrapping things up, Schneck takes a look at the Cup Series point standings as well as next week’s race at Sonoma Raceway.
