Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will remain at Hyak Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series after signing a multi-year extension, Hyak announced May 11.
He’ll drive the No. 47 in 2027 and beyond.
Stenhouse has been with the team since 2020 when it was JTG-Daugherty Racing. It rebranded to Hyak prior to the 2025 season.
So far this season, Stenhouse has one top five and two top 10s.
In his Cup Series career, he has four wins, 27 top fives and 65 top 10s.

…why? Does Hyak really feel like they have no better options? Does Stenhouse bring a lot of money with him?
