Shane van Gisbergen executed flawless technique at Watkins Glen International on Sunday (May 10), including overcoming a 29-second deficit in the closing laps to score his seventh career NASCAR Cup Series victory, all coming on road courses.
Stock Car Scoop host Eric Schneck is joined by resident Frontstretch road course expert Michael Finley, where they break down Sunday’s running of the Go Bowling at The Glen. Schneck and Finley discuss SVG’s commanding performance, yet another heartbreak for rookie Connor Zilisch, and an incredibly strong run from Richard Childress Racing teammates Austin Dillon and Kyle Busch.
Joining Schneck and Finley this week are Frontstretch trackside reporters Stephen Stumpf and Phil Allaway, who join live from The Glen to give their thoughts on SVG’s dominant performance.
Closing the show, Schneck and Finley look ahead to next week’s All-Star Race, which is taking place at Dover Motor Speedway. They discuss the drivers who are already locked into the race, as well as the drivers who are eligible for the fan vote. The duo also discusses what could be done to bring the All-Star Race back to prominence.

Couldn’t watch it. Most boring race I have ever seen.
