Clint Bowyer, Jamie McMurray Running Truck Races with Kaulig

Former NASCAR Cup Series stars Jamie McMurray and Clint Bowyer will each run a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race for Kaulig Racing, the organization announced on Sunday (April 26).

Bowyer, a 10-time Cup Series winner, will race at Dover Motor Speedway on May 15 driving the No. 25 Kaulig RAM. Then, McMurray, a seven-time Cup winner who won the 2010 Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400 with Chip Ganassi Racing, will drive the No. 25 at Naval Base Coronado on June 19.

Bowyer has made 15 previous Truck Series starts and has three wins, last making a start in the series in 2024. He has two NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series victories at Dover and one Truck start there.

McMurray, meanwhile will compete in the series’ inaugural event at Coronado. In 25 career Truck starts, McMurray has made one trip to victory lane, although it’s been a while: he took a grandfather clock trophy at Martinsville Speedway back in 2004. McMurray last competed in a series event in 2008; the San Diego race will mark his first competitive racing in any of the sport’s top three series in five years.

The No. 25 Kaulig RAM, wheeled by a merry-go-round of drivers, is 25th in the Truck Series owner standings through six races in the 2026 campaign.

  1. I assume dodge thinks the fans of nascar and truck racing are pretty stupid because dodge keeps insinuating the dodge trucks nascar races has hemi engines in them. All trucks have exactly the same elmore engine in them no dodge truck has a hemi engine. Hopefully everyone knows that, especially dodge
