Gio Ruggiero will start first in Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series race at Talladega Superspeedway.
Positions one through 36 were determined by ARCA Menards Series owner points. Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 18 entry, shared by Ruggiero and Max Reaves, sits atop the standings.
Ruggiero has won two of the three ARCA races in 2026, including the series’ most recent race at Kansas Speedway. Ruggiero also won the season opener at Daytona International Speedway.
Ruggiero also has a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victory at Talladega.
Jake Bollman will join him on the front row in his first-ever start at Talladega. Bollman is first in the driver point standings.
Jack Wood, Jason Kitzmiller and Ryan Vargas round out the top five in third through fifth, respectively.
Taylor Reimer, Thomas Annunziata, Michael Maples, Daniel Dye and Andy Jankowiak will start fifth through 10th, respectively.
Starting spots 37 through 40 were determined via the practice times of the fastest four cars not in the highest 36 owner points. Five drivers were entered so one driver failed to qualify. Ryan Huff, Ron Vandermeir Jr., Sean Corr and Alli Owens start 37th through 40th, respectively. Nick White was the only driver who failed to qualify.
