Brent Crews Wins 1st Career O’Reilly Pole in San Diego

Brent Crews will lead the field to green later on Saturday afternoon (June 20) after nabbing his first career NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series pole at the Naval Base Coronado street course in San Diego.

Parker Retzlaff will share the front row with Crews, while Retzlaff’s Viking Motorsports teammate Anthony Alfredo will start next in third. Austin Hill and Carson Kvapil complete the top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Sam Mayer, Sheldon Creed, Austin Green, William Sawalich, and Sammy Smith will start in the sixth to 10th positions.

Jesse Love did not post a qualifying lap after his No. 2 team’s inspection issues that resulted in penalties, including no qualifying and doing a pass-through after taking the green flag.

The United Rentals Driven to Serve 250 at the Naval Base Coronado street course, the 18th race of the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season, will take place on Saturday afternoon with coverage beginning at 5 p.m. ET on The CW.
