Nitro Motorsports owner Nick Tucker will run the ARCA Menards Series East race at Hickory Motor Speedway, ARCA’s website revealed in an interview with Tucker on March 10.
The move marks a return to the driver’s seat for Tucker, who has previously competed in the ARCA Menards Series and in the NASCAR national series prior to forming Nitro.
“Hickory is a special place in my heart,” Tucker told ARCA. “When I first moved from Washington state at the end of 2000, this is where I started my late model career after transitioning from go-karts. We ran here four or five years before I went to the Truck Series. With [the East Series] coming to Hickory, I thought it was a good opportunity to come back. We didn’t have anybody running the ARCA East race, so this is a neat deal to go have some fun with our guys and relive some memories.”
Tucker previously competed in ARCA and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series from the 2000s to the early 2010s. Tucker’s last on-track action in either of those series came in 2013 in ARCA at Chicagoland Speedway for Carter 2 Motorsports.
Tucker’s car number for the race wasn’t announced. The team has fielded the Nos. 15, 20, 25, 55, 70 and 90 across the platform this season.

Ok ,that’s great and good luck but now I have one question for Mr Tucker why did you not sign
Taylor Reimer up as a full time driver for 2026 ? And beyond as she will become a top driver everywhere she races .
