Stock Car Scoop: Tyler Reddick Scores 2 In A Row For 23XI Racing

Tyler Reddick went back-to-back for 23XI Racing and scored a thrilling victory in Sunday’s (Feb. 22) running of the Autotrader 400 at EchoPark Speedway.

Eric Schneck and Wyatt Watson do a quick overview of Sunday’s race, and Michael Massie and Devin Kupka from the Five To Go podcast join us live from the EchoPark Speedway to give their thoughts on the wild afternoon.

There were two main storylines that unfolded throughout the afternoon and into the night, the first being the caution flag. The caution flag flew a total of 10 times for 67 laps, including some incredibly hard solo crashes from Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson as well as plenty of multi car accidents.

As for the second storyline? Well, that would be the lead changes, 57 of them amongst 14 drivers to be exact. Reddick led a race-high 53 laps to take home the checkered flag. With the win, Reddick becomes the first driver to win the opening two races of the Cup Series season since Matt Kenseth did it all the way back in 2009. Can Reddick make it three in a row next week at Circuit of the Americas?

Eric and Wyatt also touch on the Truck Series race having a time limit, Sheldon Creed finally breaking through to victory lane in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and if EchoPark Speedway has become a bucket list racetrack?

There’s a lot to talk about, and not a lot of time to do it! Check out Stock Car Scoop on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever else you get your podcasts!
