Hettinger Racing’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series debut will come with a driver making his own maiden appearance in the series.
Luke Fenhaus will pilot Hettinger’s No. 5 at Daytona International Speedway, the team announced Jan. 27.
Should the No. 5 qualify, it’ll mark both parties’ first O’Reilly race.
Hettinger has moved up to O’Reilly for a planned full slate after competing part time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024 and 2025.
Fenhaus made 12 Truck starts in 2025 for ThorSport Racing, earning one top five and top 10.
Kevin Rutherford is the executive editor of Frontstretch, a position he gained in 2025 after being the managing editor since 2015, and serving on the editing staff since 2013.
At his day job, he's a journalist covering music and rock charts at Billboard. He lives in New York City, but his heart is in Ohio -- you know, like that Hawthorne Heights song.

Is he just in for Daytona or is he their full time driver for 2026
