Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Sponsoring Daniel Suarez

Daniel Suarez will have the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation as a primary partner in select NASCAR Cup Series races this year, Spire Motorsports announced Jan. 26.

The partnership will kick off this weekend at the Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium.

“Cal Ripken, Sr. had an amazing career and left behind an incredible legacy,” Suarez said in a team release. “The work the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is doing to support younger generations, especially through its STEM programs and educational initiatives, is truly remarkable. I’m a strong believer in the next generation and seeing the positive impact these programs have on youth is inspiring. I’m very excited to be a part of this partnership and to start off at the Clash will be incredible.”

Suarez is entering his first season with Spire after previously competing with Trackhouse Racing.

He has two wins in the Cup Series, at Sonoma Raceway in 2022 and Echo Park Speedway in 2024.

The exact number of races of the partnership was not announced.
