Garrett Smithley will return to SS-Green Light Racing for a second NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season in 2026, the team announced Wednesday (Dec. 10).
Smithley will serve as the primary driver of the new No. 0. Other drivers of the car will be announced at a later date.
Smithley drove the No. 14 for SSGLR in 2025. He attempted 27 of the season’s 33 races, qualifying for 25 of them. He scored a best finish of eighth in the summer race at Daytona International Speedway.
The 33-year-old previously drove the No. 0 for the majority of the 2016-2019 NASCAR Xfinity Series seasons with the now-defunct JD Motorsports.
”Number Nuthin is back,” Smithley said of the announcement on X.
SSGLR fielded two full-time cars in 2025, the Nos. 07 and 14. Josh Bilicki was previously announced as the full-time driver of the No. 07 for 2026.
