Leland Honeyman Running ARCA Full Time for Nitro

Leland Honeyman will run in the ARCA Menards Series full time in 2026 for Nitro Motorsports, he announced Oct. 28 on social media.

Honeyman’s the first driver announced to the team, which is returning for its second season in the series in 2026.

He’ll drive the No. 20, a car in which he’s also entered for this weekend’s ARCA Menards Series West finale at Phoenix Raceway.

“What I’m looking forward to most is honestly just execution, being there each and every week, being consistent every week is going to be very important for me,” Honeyman said in a social media video. “And, you know, just show people that I can do it and I’m here and I’m ready.”

Honeyman currently drives part time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in the No. 70 for Cope Family Racing. He has two top 10s in 17 starts this year, his best result a pair of eighth-place runs.

“I see Leland as someone who’s driven, someone who’s focused, and someone that just wants to go out and win,” Nitro owner Nick Tucker said in the video.

He’s also competed in three main-series ARCA Menards Series events this year for Venturini Motorsports, earning two third-place finishes and one fourth.

Nitro acquired Venturini’s assets at the end of the 2025 ARCA season.
