Round six of the 2025 zMAX CARS Tour season brings the Tour back to hallowed grounds this Thursday (May 15) and Friday (May 16) at North Wilkesboro Speedway for yet another historic milestone in the history of the series.
The Tour will be a part of NASCAR’s All-Star week at North Wilkesboro for the third consecutive season, with the event now being simulcast between FloRacing and FOX Sports 1, marking the first nationally televised event in series history.
A stacked list of 43 Late Model Stock cars will try for 36 spots during Thursday’s qualifying session. The top 30 cars on time will make the field, with six provisional filling out the field.
Daniel Silvestri will make his CARS Tour return at North Wilkesboro in the Tom Usry No. 00, his first appearance with the Tour since 2022.
After a crash at Orange County, Camden Gullie is back with his family owned No. 01.
South Carolina Late Model Stock regular Riley Gentry will attempt his first start of 2025 with his family’s No. 09.
Ryan Wilson is back with his family No. 2 after an absence from Ace Speedway.
Defending Pro Late Model champion Kaden Honeycutt will return to Hettinger Racing for the second time in 2025, this time driving the No. 5.
After two races of absence, Tristan McKee is back in the Matt Piercy Racing No. 7.
Tate Fogleman returns to the JFCO Motorsports No. 8 for the third time in 2025.
Nelson Motorsports will field a second car as Jonathan Shafer will drive the No. 12 for the team, their first race together since 2020.
NASCAR Cup Series veteran Corey LaJoie will look to make his CARS Tour debut, driving the KP Speed Motorsports No. 12.
With only one CARS start in the past three seasons, Samuel Butler will attempt to make the field in the JM Racing No. 14.
16-year-old Alex Meggs will attempt his CARS debut driving the No. 16 for McCumbee Elliott Racing.
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series regular Layne Riggs returns to the Tour for the second time in 2025, driving the Tom Usry Racing No. 17.
Parker, Colorado native Cody Dempster will attempt to make his second start of the year in his own No. 24.

The Pro Late Models will be in action for their 75-lap feature on Thursday night with a full lineup of qualifying for both series beforehand, live on FloRacing. The Late Model Stock cars will be in action Friday night live on FOX Sports 1 for the first time ever, with the race simulcast between FS1 and FloRacing.
Chase began working with Frontstretch in the spring of 2023 as a news writer, while also helping fill in for other columns as needed. Chase is now the main writer and reporter for Frontstretch.com's CARS Tour coverage, a role which began late in 2023. Aside from racing, some of Chase's other hobbies include time in the outdoors hunting and fishing, and keeping up with all things Philadelphia sports related.
