The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series campaign has been unpredictable from the start, with Christopher Bell’s three wins in a row followed by Josh Berry’s first Cup win last weekend at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
This weekend, NASCAR heads back to Florida to party in Miami at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The track has produced some exciting racing over the years, including last season’s last-lap pass for the lead that sent Tyler Reddick into the Championship 4 round.
Homestead likes to make every race a party, and this weekend is no different. Here’s who’ll be at the track.
Honorary Pace Car Driver
Puerto Rican reggaeton rapper and singer Wisin, one half of the group Wisin & Yandel, will lead the field to green on Sunday. Wisin has collaborated with legends such as Jennifer Lopez, 50 Cent, T-Pain and Enrique Iglesias.
Honorary Event Officials
Cuban reggaeton duo Gente de Zona will also be at the track serving as honorary event officials. The duo gained success with the song “Bailando” with Enrique Iglesias. With the success of “Bailando,” it won numerous awards, including at the Latin Grammy and Latin Billboard Awards.
Grand Marshal
Miami Dolphins edge rusher Bradley Chubb will serve as the grand marshal for Sunday’s Straight Talk 400. Chubb, a fan favorite in Miami, is a two-time NFL Pro Bowler. Chubb was selected fifth overall in the 2018 NFL draft by the Denver Broncos out of NC State University.
