Patrick Staropoli will attempt his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut at Martinsville Speedway, Sam Hunt Racing announced March 19.
Staropoli will pilot No. 24, with Syfovre as the sponsor.
It’s the first of a multi-race deal for Staropoli with the team, though the rest of his schedule was not announced.
He’ll look to make his first start in one of NASCAR’s national series since he made one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series appearance for SS-Green Light Racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2016.
Staropoli has one start in the ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West this year, coming at Phoenix Raceway. That was the start of a five-race partnership with Venturini Motorsports.
Staropoli is the fourth driver announced for SHR’s part-time No. 24 in 2025, following Ryan Truex, Corey Heim and Jeffrey Earnhardt.
