Happy Hour: Is Atlanta the Best Track in NASCAR?

On this week’s episode of Frontstretch Happy Hour, hosts Trey Lyle, Dalton Hopkins and Michael Massie are joined by Savage Ventures‘ John Newby to decide whether or not Atlanta Motor Speedway has become the best track in NASCAR.

The quartet predict what Atlanta will be like and what will be done with the racing there as the track surface ages. They also debate the future of Austin Hill, the king of Atlanta in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, after Hill won his third straight race at the track. Will he be an Xfinity lifer, or will Hill be a NASCAR Cup Series star one day?

The ending of the Xfinity and Cup races at Atlanta yielded yet more controversial officiating, with the NXS field racing back to the checkered flag after a wreck while Cup ended under caution. The guys dive into the inconsistencies of the last-lap officiating and what the right way to go from here would be.
