Jake Finch Starting 1st for the ARCA Race at Talladega

Jake Finch will start first in the ARCA Menards Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. It’ll be his first time starting on the pole in his ARCA career.

The 34-driver field was set via 2023 owner’s points, placing Finch on the pole via Venturini Motorsports’ No. 20 winning the owner’s title with Jesse Love.

Tanner Gray joins Finch on the front row in second. Gray is making his second start in the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

Andres Perez de Lara rounds out the podium in the lineup in third. Perez de Lara finished second in the 2023 drivers championship. He also led 28 laps in the 2023 ARCA race at Talladega.

Fellow Venturini drivers Toni Breidinger and Kris Wright complete the starting top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Christian Rose will line up sixth followed by Frankie Muniz in seventh. Muniz is making his first start of the 2024 ARCA season.

Fast Track Racing drivers Bryce Haugeberg, Michael Maples and Ed Pompa occupy the final top 10 starting spots in eighth through 10th, respectively.

Of note, season-opening victor, and 2016 ARCA Talladega winner, Gus Dean will start 15th. In addition, points leader Greg Van Alst will start 21st.

With only 34 drivers entered, all will compete in the 76-lap race. John Aramendia and Ryan Huff withdrew from the event.

The 34 ARCA drivers will take the green flag at Talladega on Saturday, April 20 at 12:30 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by FOX Sports 1.

MPH PLEASE, WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH SHOWING MPH DURING THE RACE. JESUS COMMON SENSE. THEY ARE DRIVING CARS HOW FAST. CALCULATE SECONDS FOR LAP TIMES DISTANCE WTF!
