Derek Kraus Joins Kaulig in Xfinity

Derek Kraus will debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for Kaulig Racing, Kaulig announced March 21.

Kraus’ first race will be at Richmond Raceway in the No. 10.

Kaulig’s tweet announcing the news seemed to imply more races for Kraus in the car in 2023, but a specific schedule outside of Richmond was not revealed.

Kraus has made 74 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts since 2018, including one in 2023 at Daytona International Speedway for Young’s Motorsports and three full-time seasons for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing. He boasts four top fives and 26 top 10s.

He’s also the 2019 ARCA Menards Series West champion.

Kraus is the first non-NASCAR Cup Series driver to be announced to the No. 10 for 2023. So far, the car has been piloted by Justin Haley, AJ Allmendinger, Kyle Busch and Austin Dillon, after Landon Cassill was pulled from the ride before the season due to sponsorship issues.
