Pocono Raceway has become a site for COVID-19 vaccinations in the state of Pennsylvania, Lehigh Valley Health Network announced March 16.
At the site, LVHN plans to distribute vaccines to 3,000 Phase 1A people in Monroe County, Pa.
The mass vaccination of the Moderna vaccine will be held in two locations, Pocono Raceway and Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono, on March 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.
The news comes a day after Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf announced a rise in in-person attendance for events such as Pocono’s races to 50%.
