Ross Chastain Adds 5th Race With Kaulig at Kansas

Ross Chastain has added a fifth race in the part-time No. 10 Chevrolet Camaro of Kaulig Racing.

The team announced Wednesday (May 22) that Chastain will drive for the organization at Kansas Speedway in October.

Nutrien Ag Solutions will again sponsor the car.

“I couldn’t be prouder and more honored with my partnership with Nutrien Ag Solutions,” Chastain said in a press release. “The support Brent (Dewars), Matt (Kaulig) and team have given me is incredible. I’m so grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to drive the Nutrien Ag Solutions colors for a fifth race and have the chance at getting them to Victory Lane.”

Chastain has driven the No. 10 in two NASCAR Xfinity Series events so far this season, finishing 13th and winning a stage at Daytona International Speedway and 30th at Talladega Superspeedway after a parts failure.

He will also pilot the No. 10 at Chicagoland Speedway on June 29 and at Texas Motor Speedway on Nov. 2.

His primary ride this season is the No. 4 Chevy for JD Motorsports, with a season-best finish of seventh at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Chastain is running for points in the Xfinity Series, but he has also run every Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Gander Ourdoors Truck Series event so far this season, winning the NGOTS race at Kansas Speedway for Niece Motorsports.

Other drivers of the No. 10 have included Austin Dillon and Elliott Sadler, and AJ Allmendinger will be behind the wheel later this season. Kaulig also fields Justin Haley full time in its No. 11.

Chastain is currently 13th in the NXS driver standings with 244 points, 42 points outside the playoff cutoff. The No. 4 is currently 15th in the owner standings with 223 points out of 41 teams total, while the No. 10 is 25th in the owner standings with 123 points through four races.
