Christopher Bell won the pole for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, the final race of the 2018 regular season before the playoffs start Aug. 26 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Bell, piloting the No. 51 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota for an ill Harrison Burton in his first Truck Series start of 2018, won the pole with a top speed of 125.839 mph.
Ben Rhodes’ ThorSport Ford, sponsored this week by the World Equestrian Games, had plenty of horsepower as the No. 41 starts second at 125.675 mph.
John Hunter Nemechek, who was fastest in the opening round of qualifying, was third at 125.518 mph, while points leader Johnny Sauter, who was fastest in the second row, starts fourth at 125.273 mph.
Grant Enfinger starts fifth, while Parker Kligerman, Noah Gragson, Todd Gilliland, Jesse Little and Ross Chastain round out the top 10.
Since the maximum field in the CWTS is 32 vehicles, five trucks failed to make the race: Norm Benning’s No. 6, Jennifer Jo Cobb’s No. 10, BJ McLeod’s No. 33, Gray Gaulding’s No. 50 and Timothy Peters’ No. 92.
The green flag will drop around 8:30 p.m. ET, with TV coverage on FOX.
