JR Motorsports announced Tuesday morning (June 26) a new three-race primary sponsorship in the NASCAR XFINITY Series for Tyler Reddick and the No. 9 Chevrolet Camaro.
The sponsorship is from online home services company Takl, which connects consumers with providers offering assistance with a variety of projects ranging from junk hauling and furniture assembly to housecleaning and lawn mowing.
The races will be this weekend in the Overton’s 300 at Chicagoland Speedway on June 30, the Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway on July 6 and the U.S. Cellular 250 at Iowa Speedway on July 28.
“We would like to welcome Takl to the JR Motorsports family,” Kelley Earnhardt Miller, JRM general manager, said in a press release. “It is always great to bring a new partner into the sport, especially one like Takl that shows a passion for working quickly and efficiently. These are traits that our team also puts into practice each week. I know that Tyler, the No. 9 team and everyone at JRM are very much looking forward to getting this new partnership underway.”
Takl is available in 41 states and 75 cities both online and through its app. Additional cities and states are being added to the service as well.
“Racing is about speed, so it’s a great way to drive home Takl’s message that you can find help fast for small jobs and chores,” Talk CEO Willis Johnson said in a press release.
Reddick is one of three XFINITY regulars to post victories this season, along with teammate Justin Allgaier, and he sits fourth in the driver standings, 31 points behind teammate Elliott Sadler. The No. 9 currently sits sixth in the NXS owner standings, 90 points behind the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 18.
