The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returns to action this weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway after the holiday off week. 37 cars are entered in the race this week, meaning everyone who shows up will race.
Not too many changes are on this week’s entry list compared to the last race at the Martinsville Speedway.
Landon Cassill returns to the No. 00 car for StarCom Racing for the second consecutive race after the team released Jeffrey Earnhardt following the race at the Auto Club Speedway.
Reed Sorenson will return to the No. 55 car for Premium Motorsports this weekend after J.J. Yeley scored a 31st-place finish for the team in the last race at Martinsville Speedway.
Carl Long will make his season debut this weekend, driving the No. 66 for his own personal team. Last season, Long made 3 starts, scoring a best finish of 31st at the Kansas Speedway in May.
The first practice of the weekend takes place on Friday April 6th at 1:00 P.M. ET with coverage on FoxSports 1. The green flag waves on Sunday April 8th at approximately 2:16 P.M. ET with coverage also on FoxSports 1.
