Searching to give Kyle Busch Motorsports a series best 51st win, Daniel Suarez will lead the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series field to the green flag at Kentucky Speedway.
Suarez’s 29.511-second lap served as the quickest in Thursday’s Keystone Light Pole Qualifying for the Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 at the 1.5-mile Kentucky oval. He’ll try to hold the lead as he aims for his first-career NCWTS victory.
Filling in for the recovering Matt Tifft, Brett Moffitt rode a strong 29.535-second lap to claim the outside of the front row. William Byron (29.590), Daniel Hemric (29.598) and Tyler Reddick (29.627) rounded out the top five, with Parker Kligerman, Kyle Busch, Matt Crafton, Ben Rhodes and Christopher Bell completing the top 10.
Cole Custer put forth the slowest lap in the final round after losing control of his No. 00 Chevrolet and sliding up next to the outside wall on his lap. Custer saved his machine, but his lap was lost.
Coverage for the NCWTS race will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
