Entry List: 2015 CampingWorld.com 500 at Talladega

With stakes as high as ever, a trip to Talladega Superspeedway will determine who advances to the next round of the Chase.

NASCAR released the preliminary entry list for the Oct. 24 CampingWorld.com 500 at Talladega. The list includes 45 entrants, meaning two will fail to make Sunday’s event. Timmy Hill (No. 62) and Michael McDowell (No. 95) will be required to make the race on speed.

Michael Waltrip will return to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in the 500-mile event, driving the No. 98 Maxwell House Toyota. The entry comes as part of a deal with Premium Motorsports, who owns the No. 98 and typically competes with Chevrolets.

In need of a big win to advance, Matt Kenseth will lean on the sponsor that brought him his first championship in 2003. Kenseth will drive with the familiar black-and-yellow Dewalt logo emblazoned on his hood.

Bobby Labonte (No. 32) will return to Go Green Racing for the event. Josh Wise will move over to Front Row Motorsports, piloting the No. 34 Ford.

The Sprint Cup Series will return to Talladega on Friday, Oct. 23, for two practice sessions at 2 p.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. ET, respectively. The field will return on Saturday for Coors Light Pole Qualifying at 4:15 p.m. ET. Coverage of Sunday’s CampingWorld.com 500 will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and MRN.
