Daniel Suarez Tops Final 2015 Kansas Lottery 300 Practice at Kansas

Daniel Suarez is still seeking his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series victory, and he took one more step toward reaching that goal early Friday evening at Kansas Speedway. Suarez paced the final practice session for the series, with a fastest lap time of 29.450 seconds at 183.362 mph.

Series points leader Chris Buescher led much of the first portion of the practice session, but was not able to match Suarez’s speed once the No. 18 was able to top the board. The No. 60 car didn’t appear to be handling to Buescher’s liking toward the very tail end of final practice.

Ryan Sieg was third fastest. Sprint Cup Series regular Kyle Busch and Ty Dillon round out the top five.

The field was slowed twice for debris. Busch nearly spun after getting extremely loose, but was able to save it and maintain some speed in the No. 54.

Qualifying begins at 12:45 p.m. ET on Saturday. The race is scheduled to begin later that afternoon at 4 p.m. ET. Both events will be broadcast live on NBCSN.
