BK Racing Partners With Beds for Kids at Darlington

BK Racing announced a partnership with NASCAR artist Sam Bass and Beds for Kids for the upcoming weekend at the Darlington Raceway. The two will come together to run a special blue and white paint scheme on the No. 26 Toyota.

Beds for Kids is a local non-profit organization that operates in the Charlotte area. The organization’s mission is to help children and families in need with a bed and other types of furniture who cannot afford the expensive supplies. Beds for Kids was founded in 2011 and has impacted around 4,000 individuals.

“Beds for Kids is excited and grateful for the opportunity that Ron Divine and the BK Racing family has given us,” said Daniel Fogarty, Beds for Kids Executive Director in a release. “Every night in the U.S. hundreds of thousands of children go to sleep on the floor without a bed to call their own. We know that in Charlotte, North Carolina over 7,500 children are sleeping on the floor.”

JJ Yeley is also looking forward to promoting and supporting the organization.

“I am excited to have Beds for Kids on board my No. 26 Toyota this weekend at Darlington Raceway,” commented Yeley in a release. “To go out there and bring light to the fact that there are children who don’t have the luxury of sleeping in a bed they call their own, is special. Hopefully we can raise awareness thru the NASCAR community, and help get some more beds delivered in the Charlotte area. It is also pretty awesome to have a Sam Bass designed car, I feel like I’ve really made it big time now!”

The No. 26 Toyota will be just one of few cars that will not be racing a throwback paint scheme this weekend.
