During the final practice session for Sprint Cup teams at Martinsville Speedway, Kevin Harvick found the speed he was lacking on Friday. Harvick qualified 33rd for Sunday’s Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 but jumped to the top of the leaderboard in final practice with a speed of 97.322 mph. Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon filled out the top five.
Jimmie Johnson was sixth, and Jamie McMurray, Justin Allagier, Joey Logano and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. rounded out the top 10.
