It’s no secret that over the last five years or so, the face of NASCAR has changed dramatically from what many fans had grown accustomed to.
The Richmond race is often one of NASCAR’s most competitive. Instead, its 12 lead changes were the fewest all season. Cause for concern, or still a great race?
I don’t think NASCAR is interested in expanding the schedule. That leaves the option of moving a race from another facility to Kentucky.
Richmond reminded us there are plenty of emerging contenders, including winner Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.
