On this week’s episode of Frontstretch Happy Hour, hosts Bryan Nolen, Michael Massie and Dalton Hopkins are joined by retired longtime PRN announcer Mark Garrow to react to what was the NASCAR Cup Series final road course race of the season at Sonoma Raceway along with the Thunder Road 200 at South Boston Speedway won by Kaden Honeycutt.
Sonoma was dominated, yet again, by Shane van Gisbergen. However, Chase Briscoe was perhaps one lap away from changing that. Is the Cup Series field finally starting to catch up to the former Australian Supercars champion?
Then, after what was a seemingly lackluster race at Sonoma, should there be a discussion about its future, despite its long-running Cup Series history there?
Finally, the group updates its bracket status after a heavily bracket-busting race. Was it a brutal weekend for many tournament favorites? Probably not.
