Lanie Buice Earns 1st Career ARCA Pole at Pocono

For the first time in her career, Lanie Buice has earned the pole for an ARCA Menards Series race, leading the field to the green flag later today (June 12) at Pocono Raceway.

Buice’s lap of 166.59 mph was enough to beat out last week’s winner, Gio Ruggiero, who will share the front row with her and start second.

Gavan Boschele and Daniel Dye will start beside each other on the initial start, rolling off the grid third and fourth, respectively.

Carson Brown rounds out the top five qualifiers, starting in fifth. He’ll share the third row with Thomas Annunziata.

The remainder of the top 10 starters include Isabella Robusto, Jake Bollman, Jade Avedisian and Isaac Kitzmiller.

A handful of drivers did not take to the track in qualifying and thus will start in the rear of the field. Included in that group of drivers are Ryan Vargas, Bobby Earnhardt, Nick White and Brad Smith.

All drivers will start the 24-car race.
