Last week at Nashville Superspeedway, Denny Hamlin got a black flag on the initial start of the race, was sent to the rear and then won the race. On Sunday (June 7) at Michigan International Speedway, Hamlin was sent to the rear before the drop of the green flag, and he once again managed to win the race.
Stock Car Scoop host Eric Schneck is joined by co-host of the Turn 2 Terribles podcast Jimmy Barr as they break down all of the action from Michigan, including another strong performance from Hamlin, the Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell accident, Erik Jones‘ strong performance and the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad season that Connor Zilisch is currently having.
Joining Schneck and Barr this week are Frontstretch reporters Caleb Barnes and Landon Quesinberry, who give their opinions on the action trackside from Michigan.
Wrapping things up, Schneck and Barr take a look at next week’s event at Pocono Raceway, and if Hamlin can overtake Kyle Busch on the all-time Cup Series wins list next week.
There’s a lot to talk about and not a lot of time to do it. Check out Stock Car Scoop on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever else you get your podcasts!
